As a social impact company, we hit a massive milestone as part of our BCorp commitment - hitting 1,000,000 products donated to-date. But here's the thing. Donations alone won't help us reach menstrual equity in Canada - which is possible! Donations, along with accessible period care in public places (just like toilet paper), and government policies that support women and people who menstruate are required to change the game. But we're getting there! Still not seeing period care in the spaces you frequent, help us advocate! 1. Write to your local MP or MLA on the importance of free period care in public spaces. 2. Make your workplace a period friendly one - resources links in bio.

PCOS has a new name — and it’s about time.  For decades, “polycystic ovary syndrome” told millions of people their condition was about cysts. For so many, it never was. The name was misleading, it hid the hormonal and metabolic reality of the condition, and it left people waiting years for answers. Now, after a global consensus study published in The Lancet, with input from around 22,000 patients, doctors and researchers worldwide, it has a new name: PMOS, polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome. One small letter. A much bigger truth. This matters because language shapes care. A clearer name means earlier diagnosis, whole-body treatment instead of piecemeal fixes, and less of the stigma that comes with being dismissed. (Worth noting: not every organisation has endorsed the change but the conversation it’s opened up is one women’s health has needed for a long time.) If you or someone you love has navigated this condition, this one’s for you. Swipe through, then send it to someone who should know. 💛 What do you think of the new name? Tell us below. 👇

We heard you just got your period. You’re probably craving something sweet and this is a delicious way to support your menstrual phase. Here’s why: Satisfies Intense Cravings: They provide a mix of gooey, sweet, and salty flavors that mimic a nutrient-dense homemade Snickers bar, easing cravings for decadent treats. Blood Sugar Management: Unlike refined sugar treats, the high fiber in dates combined with healthy fats in peanut butter slows down digestion, ensuring a slow release of energy. Mineral Boost: Dates contain magnesium and potassium, which can help manage fatigue and muscle cramps. Healthy Fats and Antioxidants: Peanut butter provides essential fats, while dark chocolate is rich in antioxidants to help with mood and energy. Save this for your next period craving📌 women’s menstrual health, period health, period products, menstrual phase recipes, toxin free period products

3 period myths you need to unlearn. 1. Periods are dirty Period blood is blood, tissue and mucus. It’s your uterus shedding its lining that’s it. The myth comes from centuries old patriarchal discomfort with women’s bodies. Not science. 2. Period pain is something you have to deal with Mild cramps? Normal. Pain that stops your life? Not normal. It can be a sign of endometriosis, fibroids, or PCOS. Conditions that take an average of 7 to 10 years to diagnose because women’s pain is dismissed. 3. Periods should be hidden Why do we hide tampons up our sleeves? Why are pad ads still full of blue liquid and whispers? Because we’ve been taught menstruation should be invisible and when we don’t talk about periods misinformation grows. Myths survive when silence protects them. Periods are taught in whispers, marketed and metaphors and joked about instead of explain explained. if you’re curious about more period myths and how they’re affecting women’s menstrual health today, check out our blog post we just dropped!
