I created custom visuals with accompanying lighting design for headliner @bigthaiboy at @thelamentist PFW afterparty.
For Thaiboy’s (DJ Billybool) set, I had noticed his use of blue as a recurring aesthetic and I wanted to create that vibe by carrying the same tone through both the visuals and the lighting design for his performance.
The visuals were created using After Effects as a base and TouchDesigner for glow, texturing and glitch elements.
Alongside this, I handled lighting and VJ operation for the full lineup, adapting the lighting design to each artist’s set.

TouchDesigner live visuals for @waitareyoutwins
* The first visual is a reactive glitch system, it listens to the music in real time, and every kick of the beat triggers glitch distortion while switching between footage from the twins own music videos and logo.
* The second visual is inspired on the classic DVD bounce. The logo travels around the screen, and each time it hits a “wall” a flash of visuals featuring the twins appears, creating rhythmic, strobe friendly visuals.

had the chance to work with @borough._ and @gab3 at their halloween show this year.
i curated an intro video that played as people started coming in, featuring a lot of scenes from the movie “eyes wide shut”, designed the room layout and visual flow of the whole show by building custom ceiling assets to merge with the main screen visuals.
also ran the lighting design for the duration of the whole show trying to fit into everyones performances.
the visuals were made with a mix of TouchDesigner and After Effects.

designed 2 different promotional posters, modeled in Blender then edited and finalised in Photoshop.
for the show I built an ambient visual in TouchDesigner that was projected on the venue wall all night + managed and projected visuals for each artist, syncing lighting to match the sound and vibe of each performance.

the setup analyzes the video’s luminance values to generate particle emissions from brighter areas.
the system also analyzes the high frequencies of the audio used triggers video transitions and the low and mid frequencies influence the behavior of the particles.
