This month marks 5 years since Jesus saved me and made me new. Happy (new)birthday to me😅🥳.
How time has flown but God has remained faithful.
See what kind of love the Father has given to me, that I should be called a child of God. (1 John 3:1)
He has delivered me from the domain of darkness and transferred me to the Kingdom of His beloved Son. (Colossians 1:13)
Christ showed His love for me in that while I was still a sinner, Christ died for me. (Romans 5:8)
I am no longer condemned because there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:1)
I did nothing to earn it for I have been justified by faith and now I have peace with God through my Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:1)
Therefore, as I have received Him and believed in His name, He has given me the right to become a child of God. (John 1:12)

New chapter, same Jesus.
Thankful to God for blessing me with life and Jesus for giving me eternal life. To think it’s been almost 4 year since Jesus saved me. Only if you all knew the person I used to be. I was a prideful, self seeking and hurtful person. I was envious, sexually immoral,slanderous and a gossip (this isn’t even the full list😭). I was so blind I had no idea.
But Jesus showed grace to me and said He was willing to forgive all of this. I repented and believed what Jesus did on the cross for me. I now have a relationship with God. He teaches me how to obey Him, how to love others and be a godly man.
I am so far from perfect. I still fail and still sometimes choose what’s best for me rather than what’s best for others. But I look to His word which is shaping me to be more like Jesus. I couldn’t have received a greater gift than Jesus🙏🏾❤️
