I am sooo excited to show you my very first (real) experience with videography - a music video style dance video (that I dreamed about doing for so long) and I got to do it with always amaziiiing Gerli 🔥
Actually Gerli and I had our first photoshoot together already back in 2020, which was this hot beach boudoir that we shot before sunset. I remember that I was looking for a model for that project. Somehow Gerli caught my eye, I felt she would be perfect for that shoot and decided to “slid into her DM-s” 🫠 she agreed, thank God! 😄 And that marked first of several shoots we did in a row back then…then there was this silence…and now she found her way back in front of my camera as I am starting to play with video also 🙌 always a pleasure to work with such a beautiful and talented people 🤍 Everything is just easy and effortless, every time.
I have been a self-taught photographer for about 20 years and lately I feel like taking videos. I see myself doing “music video style” (dance) videos, which was the goal with this project also. Not just dancing, but adding some extra to it, making it more interesting and different, adding a story etc…but there’s a lot to learn. A lot!!! It is all very new to me. It’s very different from just taking good stills - you have to catch the movement and frame it beautifully as your subject is moving around AND watch for a good lighting. I hope I get to do more of it in the future and mix it with my shoots and get better at it 🙃 Love doing it already 💫
