Unfortunately, the area is still threatened by rock mining. The quarry is now only 50 meters from this site.
Where everything is now dug up, blasted, and "renaturalized," (this word is a joke considering to what has been destroyed), it looked like on this photo only a few years ago..

of some years ago..
The time when it began. Bouldering on the wall of the Berliner Hütte, which my parents ran at the time. We bouldered everywhere, apart from the rocks around the hut, we climbed the house wall and the paneling in the hut, from traverses to highballs to the roof of the hut. With me in this photo is my cousin Tom.
