Ohhh, humans. Honestly, you never do make it easy, do you? You learn so slowly. Even painfully sometimes. You say, “No more heartbreak. No more being treated like I don’t matter.” With such conviction. You mean it! I know that… You absolutely mean it. But then here comes Trouble with a capital T. Bit of charm, bit of mystery, just enough rough edges to make it interesting. You see all those Red flags, of course you do. You’re not blind. But that pull… That unbreakable draw, that spark… It throws all sensible decisions out the window. Makes you say, “This one.” And suddenly all those brilliant, logical promises you made? Start wobbling a bit. See, that’s the trick of it. It’s not that you humans don’t know better… You really do. It’s that knowing doesn’t switch off “wanting”. And wanting… Welllll… It’s loud. Drowns things out, even common sense. Because the ones you feel the strongest for aren’t always the ones who treat you the best. Bit unfair, that. Human design flaw, if you ask me. You keep going...
