Last week I wrapped my residency at @riversidestudioslondon with ‘Per-Verse’ and wowwee what a time!! I trialled a brand spanking new version of the show and ventured to very new territory… West London 🤯
So grateful to all at Riverside, a stellar production & PR team and wonderful audiences which included friends, family, ex dates and a dog. It was a joy to date everyone of you. Thank you for letting me get off on at least 3 ‘wedge’ related jokes… it is genuinely all I’ve ever wanted. My body continues to be held hostage by an insatiable need to pun - so seriously, can someone please help.

Well, this was a bit surreal. A panic all-nighter on a tight deadline later, I’m officially a published author in THE @guardian ?! 🥸 Dare I say, quite cool.
There’s a lot more I’d like to say about identity, sex, language, control, power, performance and how all those things have gone through complex stages for me. Disclosing facets of my sexuality wasn’t a mic-drop moment. It was a reflection on reinscribing some teenage rebellion on my evolving “grown-up” authorship - in the heavenly hellscape of mid-late twenties. And being briefly wedged between Starmer and Trump (a truly cursed threeway) on most read is certainly one for the books.
My show ‘Per-Verse’ opens today and runs until April 19 at @riversidestudioslondon . Please come if you can. And then come again. You won’t see Anna there but you may just find the elusive G.
