I blocked off the fireplace so Mowgli couldn’t get to his lil rocks anymore to fling at me and this is how he responded. Every picture was taken in the last 2 hours. He went full menace mode. Bonus of Scout making the counter smell like her again right after I cleaned it. #caturday

January was cold and pretty lame and very long?
1. Scout started fighting back! Mowgli started trying to groom her. Baby steps!

MOWGLI. We rescued this little panther from mom and dad’s porch this past weekend. Another street cat for our household! He’s the absolute sweetest cat to ever live and he purrs so loud and SQUEAKS. My hands are proof that he has the claws of a killer, Bella, but he plays pretty sweet, overall.
He’ll meet his big sis Scout after his tummy medicine does its job but right now he’s perfectly content with a queen size bed and endless food and toys. And yes he has an emotional support possum, obviously.

October!
1. Finally made it to Lee’s at Workplay. The hype is real. The space is wonderful and the coffee is GREAT.
2. Didn’t prepare for how big the WBHM dish would be. Felt like meeting a celebrity.
3. Rock paper scissors to pick book club titles is a great idea, actually.
4. Almost as great of an idea as a plate of just junk food while watching Shutter Island.
5. The new old Goldberg shirt is heavily in rotation. Softest shirt I own. It just rules.
6. If I can’t find Sam, he’s outside sitting in the sun. We are very different.
7. I trusted the vision and now have these cute sweater pumpkins.
