As a summer baby, your birthday often falls after the school year ends, so you prefer to keep your birthday quiet, and often spent with just a few family and friends. One year though, I thought Iād throw you something different, a surprise party in Greenhills. Everyone came! It was your 21st birthday, and we managed to keep it a surprise until the very end.
Itās much harder to surprise you nowadays, especially since we sync our schedules, but the sentiment never changes. I am always, always thankful that you were born on this day, and that in this lifetime, we found each other. Happy birthday love!

Our view from the window is the Taipei Main Station. The proximity to the station feels nostalgic because more than a decade ago, A and I set off around several cities in France and Italy choosing to stay near train stations. Weād go to a city, decide on how long we wanted for stay there, and book accommodations as we went along. No firm agenda, just getting a feel of the cities that we could manage between fashion week shows.
Now, we are married, with a family of 3, and traveling in a group of 16! Wasnāt it just yesterday when weād bring up our suitcases up 4 flights of stairs because the elevators were too small? Now weāre chasing after an 8-year-old who likes Chiikawa. Where have all the years gone?
