Spring in Vancouver felt like the right setting to capture a few images of my Baybayin chair prototype.
This work is part of my ongoing thesis exploration: how Baybayin can become form. Something that not only carries language, but also holds, supports, and shelters us. It opens up a larger conversation around reclamation, and the ways Filipino identity continues to shift, expand, and evolve across the diaspora.

The work continues
When winter hit one of my best friends challenged me to go out this winter and shoot as typical in the winter I go into hibernation when it comes to shooting outdoors . It’s been quite fun and refreshing going out and shooting different scenes and trying new things. This is one of those occasions where I was driving and happened to see this scene. I shot this on gold 200 in my Mamiya 645 and frame 2 was my go to summer set up Nikon FM2 and E100 quite happy how they turned out . #kodakprofessional
