Incredible week at @c3australia Regional Gathering 2026! Amazing time with our @c3rousehill fam and lots of friends in ministry across Australia. Over two decades ago I did @c3college and made lifelong friends and was prepared for a life in ministry. Grateful to reconnect with incredible leaders from two decades ago who are still serving God and people with sacrificial love. What an example! Humbled to be on the journey with incredible leaders that were pioneering before us as well as alongside brilliant leaders in this season. I’m confident we will see greater works now and also in the next generation! The future is bright and prayer is powerful! Keep on praying!

Glorious day with the fam surfing at Mona Vale Beach. Grateful for our land, skies, waters and the freedoms hard won by ANZACs. A slow bbq after the surf was incredible.🌻

Believing for a great year of God surprises. I think I’ve found my verse for the year - 1 Cor 14:1. Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy.

It’s the day before Christmas and my to do list is pretty long. But this Christmas I’m focussed on having a Mary Christmas, not a Martha Christmas. In Luke 10, Jesus visits a home of two ladies and while Martha is busy with preparations, Mary was postured for participation. Both had proximity to Jesus but only one had attentiveness to Jesus. Martha had a list of complaints for Jesus, Mary had a listening ear to hear his teachings. Martha was distracted by to do lists. Mary was discipled by the Great ā€˜I am’ as she learnt to be is the priority. Remember character matters, know and live your values. Being before doing. Identity before initiatives. While there is much to do this Christmas, only a few things are needed, or indeed only one. Let’s be listening and attentive to Jesus, let’s know God personally. Let’s seek him daily. There’s no better way to live. Have a Merry Christmas! No wait, instead, have a Mary Christmas this year. Yes, pun intended. The song, O Holy Night says, ā€œFall on your kneesā€ with a grace, humility, adoration and worship to Jesus that seems like the fitting song for this reflection.

Great night out in The Hills, Sydney at Echoes. Powerful storytelling of the Farm’s history with lasers, lights and music. An immersive, uplifting experience. Well worth it!! #EchoesBellaVista

My kids got these glasses recently. The filter glasses are real. Not fake. Real. Fake. Sometimes it can be hard to tell. It is tricky talking about grief in a way that is real. Here I am posting about grief of the plastic platform of Insta. Today in church though I was privileged, (and challenged) to talk about mourning and grief from The Bible in Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn for they will be comforted. Today I explored how grief is a way to be real with people in a broken world about our loss, longings and feeling of being lost. Mourning is a way to allow God to comfort us. When we are real, people can also comfort us. Ed Sheeran says, ā€œGrief is the end of youth.ā€ It can feel gut wrenching. It can be good to fast as part of processing grief. Grief is a process. Grief involves people. Inviting God into grief can be powerful. How do you process grief? How do you mourn? I’m thankful for supportive people in my life that have helped me through mourning. Blessed are those who mourn for they will be comforted. Wise words from Jesus. Blessed. Blessed is our current church series. Blessed when it is hard, not perfect. Blessed in the messy reality. Blessed because God is with us, bringing his good plans in a world that is hurting and in desperate need of comfort and love.

Approaching my goal of 1,000 quotes in my quote library and this quote felt like it had to get front and centre for someone. I love this sentiment. Goals are about growth. Your growth. Keep becoming. Don’t stagnate. Live. Don’t die.
