Once in a while the DreamGroup Planners take time from our busy wedding planning schedules to come together to create something more personal. Earlier this year @rockymtnbride asked us if we would like to lead an editorial to be featured in the pages of their international magazine! Well, how could we say no to this exciting opportunity to tell a love story of our own and pull together a team of some of the most talented and wonderful Vancouver Wedding Vendors to bring the vision to life?!
One of our “secrets” to producing editorials that stand out + resonate with audiences is by involving, not just “gorgeous models”, but rather professional actors as we’ve found they are better able to get into character and immerse themselves in the love story we are trying to tell. In this case, we asked Vancouver actress @kyleewoffordmaki and her dashing “team player” husband @frasermaki to help bring our imagined love story to life! But it gets better! It just so happens that Kylee + Fraser are also recent DreamGroup clients with @plannedbyjill having the privilege of supporting their wedding earlier this year. Their authentic connection + enthusiasm to be a part of something unique and fun truly resonated + captivated the cameras of @jo.and.glo 🙌🏻
The 14 page spread hits newsstands in January 2026, but in the meantime the lovely editor in chief @celynn_rockymtnbride invited us to select 5 photos to share before the release. Needless to say when you involve some of the most incredibly talented + creative vendors in Vancouver as we did, choosing 5 photos was difficult. So here is a little taste of the dreamy, decadent, & thoughtful love story that we all endeavoured to conjur up at the timeless @vancouverclub
