It's Summer on Spring Street! If you live in the area, please join in on this Meet Your Street party! June 6th come spend the afternoon at 45 Spring Street; DJ, refreshments and summer vibes will be served. We want to remind you that meeting your neighbors can be easy, and stress free! Invite your neighbors, spread the word- you don't even need to offer anything besides good conversation. We hope to see more neighbors meeting each other this summer!

It’s been a few weeks since we officially started Geneva Community Radio and the response has been incredible! Thank you to all of our listeners, the radio hosts, and everyone who has given us such great feedback. It’s so fun to see where you’re listening from inside of our low power radius, and what errands you’re out doing while tuning in to shows you love. If you haven’t checked it out yet, you’re missing out! Check out @genevacommunityradio

Will we see you this September? Lineup to be announced soon. We absolutely can’t wait to boogie with you. There will be music. There will be friends. There will be food. There will be art vendors. There will be fire dancing. There will be a factory. There might be a cracker. There will be so much love. Oh and THANK YOU @genevacommunityprojects for making this possible. It’s true that we’re only as strong as the communities that hold us up. Much love to the groups that make this stuff possible. Meet Your Park! GCP and the City of Geneva are sponsoring monthly park meetups at Clark St and Richards Park this June, July, and August. Celebrate summer with us over ice cream, and meet new neighbors! Join in on some friendly competition with pickup games, or bring a craft to share with friends. We have so many parks in Geneva but could only pick two, so we hope this sparks meetups in other parks around the city! Clark St.- 1st Monday each month, 5pm Richards Park- 2nd Monday each month, 5pm

WOW, thank you to everyone who submitted ideas to our Meet Your Street application. We hope this initiative sparks a little bit of inspiration and neighborly love, and that more neighborhood meetups happen this summer! Recipients have been contacted via email about their checks. We’d like to highlight the 5 events here: -Teach Your Neighbor- a show and tell event sharing hobbies and skills. -Friends on Folger Street BBQ- BBQ, neighbors becoming friends, and summer vibes. -Summer on Spring St- casual get together with DJ and refreshments. -Maxwell Meetup and Ice Cream social- yard games, ice cream, and lots of neighbors! -Torrey Park Neighbors United Block Party- bringing back the old school tradition of summer in Torrey Park.

This week is the perfect time to remind our volunteers how thankful we are for them! Countless hours are put in by our volunteer board members, our event staff, and our community members who step up to the plate when needed. We appreciate it immensely and GCP couldn't happen without all of our wonderful volunteers- thank you! #nationalvolunteerweek

You’ve done it again, thank you! Tickets and tables are sold out, and we appreciate the support more than you know! Because of our Rosé Soirée fans we are able to sustain our projects all year long. If you missed tickets, there’s still a way to get in on the fun and show your support! Adopt A Pink Ducks are still available, but dwindling. We can’t wait to see you in June 💃
