The prevention of #HIV requires collaborative solutions as resources are becoming scarce and competing with other priorities
This was the message of the Botswana Permanent Secretary in the Ministry for State President, Goitsemang Morekisi, at the Global HIV Prevention Coalition (GPC) and
@SouthSouthLearningNetwork for HIV Prevention (SSLN) HIV prevention outcomes workshop in Gaborone this week. Morekisi urged countries to work smarter by putting minds together, learning from each other to be able to make savings on the meagre available resources.
“It is through collaboration that we can harness our shared experiences, leverage diverse strengths and build a future that is resilient, inclusive and prosperous for all humanity,” she said.
The
@Genesis_Analytics Health team is currently in Gaborone for the 2.5-day workshop on HIV Prevention Outcome Monitoring workshop organised by the SSLN and co-hosted with PEPFAR, World Health Organization, UNAIDS, The
@GlobalFund , the Ministry of Health of Botswana, and the National AIDS and Public Health Agency of Botswana (
@nahpabotswana ).
Through this workshop, 150 participants from 21 countries in Africa and Asia will be sharing and learning about prevention outcome monitoring.
