YOU x ME is a series of modern entanglements: Noura swipes right on Luna with a little help from her group-chat, Maryam and Nilou fall for each other between shared playlists, while Paz and Ale reminisce about the sweat-soaked dance floor of their youth. Set in cosmopolitan settings from Los Angeles to Montreal, this hot and hopeful QTBIPOC contemporary romance offers escape, self-discovery, and a dose of glamor.  As Maya Angelou encourages, this book calls readers to “have enough courage to trust love one more time and always one more time.” YouxMeBook.com — Author: “Romance is political. Beauty is activism. I write stories that celebrate those of us who have rebuilt our lives and ourselves over and over again in acts of revolutionary self-love. These stories are about community, connection, and expansive conversations.” @ayla.author — Publisher: “You deserve to be delighted, seduced, attended-to, flirted with, courted. Respectfully objectified. Fully seen. You deserve to be loved in all your colorful glory.” @generouspress Generous Press publishes lush, high-caliber romance fiction and other books about love by brilliant queer, BIPOC, and disabled writers. Radical inclusivity is at the heart of our mission as we aim to please readers like you. Together we imagine a world in which all people are cherished and free.  — Book cover: On this illustration, Suit of Abundance: “Suit of Abundance” honors queerness as sacred, embodied, and deserving. It is an ode to our beauty, our defiance, and the truth that we are worthy of love and abundance in every form. @itschinwosu Chi Nwosu  is a Black, nonbinary, queer Nigerian artist whose work invites others to envision a world nourished by love, curiosity, play, and mutuality. Their practice moves with spirit and the wisdom of feeling, shaped by kinship with the more-than-human world and by living histories of international resistance. Through their art, they hope to inspire others to remember that we are all seeds of change and possibility. Illustration set in a bold design by multi-disciplinary artist @beccafoxdesign (also find her at @gentlemanbrawlers ).

Scams, disaster submissions and yet I somehow managed to turn it all around! Stay tuned for what happened next! 😏❤️ Also, can I just add that I am not elitist when it comes to trad/indie/self-publishing in any way! I don't believe there is a wrong or right way! I will only say that as I came closer to finishing my first book, and the realities of what came next started to hit me (releasing, marketing, putting myself on show, driving the promotions etc.), I started to realise how incompatible this whole "authoring" business was with my disabilities (autism, PTSD and ADHD). My worst fears of having to do everything on my own were starting to come true, and while I did everything I could to educate myself in self-publishing, I knew I would struggle to apply it... Fortunately, I wasn't on my own for long... ❤️

It's as easy as that! Imagine a book where everyone gets a love story. Unremarkable. Conflicts come from the story, not because people dare to love each other. #queernormative #regencyromance #achangeofpace #diversity #booklover
