Some patterns made from standing waves. A repeating mathematical function is generated, then pixels are assigned a hue, saturation and value based on that function.

My aim for genuary is to document some of my work from the past five or six years of creation.
This is based on boolean algebra. Each layer (color/resolution) is a different formula involving a boolean operator.

Pixel sorted image combined with original flow field.
A flow field is pixel sorted, then the sorted image is replaced with the original depending on the hue of the original.
Sunset vibes.

Never tried pixel sorting before..
Here's an old flow field (second image) with the pixels sorted by hue.
Looks like chomatography or something.

Grid based grapic design
This flow field is based on a grid, which is overlaid in white on top of the streamlines.
Every element of the grid contains a coherent image in its own right.

The phase space of a Henon attractor always reminds me of the map of a coastline.
If you want to know more about this system there are some nice examples here (not mine):

Prompt for genuary day 25 was "One line that may or may not intersect itself"
This is a single line that does not intersect itself.
Based on a Hilbert curve with some added noise.
