We’re open as usual at 174 Bellenden Road through to Good Friday and Easter Saturday.
Closed for Easter Sunday, with normal hours resuming on Easter Monday.
We’re excited to be working with family run German bakery Kreutzkamm again this year, and importing their incredible marzipan Christstollen to General Store - continuing our tradition of sourcing only the very best examples of traditional food production.
Baking since 1825, their classic raisin stollen is filled with an extra juicy strand of the best marzipan, generously brushed with butter, before receiving a drench in a flurry of the finest icing sugar. These are really something special.
At a bake weight of 1kg, your Christmas stollen will come wrapped in its own keep-fresh bag, and packed in a gift box. It even comes with a spare pack of icing sugar, for extra sprinkling!
Available to pick up now in store, or via our online shop for home delivery.

The shop is full of festive produce and we’re open every day here at 174 Bellenden Road until Christmas Eve.
Bags of clementines, boxes of mince pies, the best panettone in town, traditional German stollen, and of course golden foil wrapped caramel chocolate frogs.

As we head into our 13th (!) year here at 174 Bellenden Road, we thought it was time for a refresh of sorts, with Cola brown, Chinese blue and some wonderful new signage from @thesunnysignco .
A huge thanks to all, past and present, who continue to pass through the door for a coffee or bag of groceries, stocking up on produce that we take great pride in supplying.
August at General Store brings one of our favourite fruits; Reine Claude greengages.
An ancient and incredibly sweet variety of plum from South West France, the fruits are given time to fully ripen on the tree before harvesting, resulting in a perfect eating experience 🌞
FORNO at General Store!
We’re so excited to bring London’s best purveyors of Italian baked goods south of the river, available seven days a week on the counter at General Store.
We’ll have Cornetti alla Crema, Lemon Buns, Frangipane Tarts and Chocolate Olive Oil Cakes, alongside all of their exceptional pastry classics like Pain au Chocs and Cinnamon Buns.
On Saturdays we’ll have specials too, with FORNO’s iconic Maritozzi, Venetian Buns and Fruit Danishes!
