For 40 years, Reggie Washington has toured and recorded with a diverse range of musicians, including Branford Marsalis, Roy Hargrove, Liz McComb, The Headhunters, Steve Coleman, Ambrose Akimusire, Cassandra Wilson, and many more.
Jazz, in all its richness and diversity, is the source of his music, blending funk, R&B, world music, and soul. Reggie has a golden touch, and his natural energy captivates audiences.
The four musicians will present original compositions and standards by other artists who have influenced them.
Ravi, David, and Gene have their own bands and have played with legends such as Wayne Shorter, David Sanborn, Ron Carter, Herbie Hancock, Roy Haynes, Chico Hamilton, Joe Zawinul, and Henry Threadgill.
