Pipe was maxing out the whole event and to say I was nervous was an understatement. He ended up finishing equal 5th and not braking any boards! We were both pumped with the result. 4 years on and he has gone on to win a few @wsl.qs events and multiple online video edits, this has developed an amazing surfer/shaper relationship. 🍻
