Confidence is hard to fein and it’s taught in bad faith. It’s not about how high you hold your head and confidence can not be measured by ones ability to speak. To be so sure in a false self or too concerned with how you should love yourself over how you should love others is confidence in bad faith.
How can you be confident in yourself but not your surroundings? How can you love yourself and not love the extensions of self that affect the way you breath and the things you see and the earth you smell.
Confidence is earned in community it is not built by ones bare mind and a single lonely soul.
I see so much of myself in philly and some much of something else. As if the place I came from still had a chance to fight gentrification. And fight the displacement of black and brown folks. Philly gives me hope.
It’s given me the ability to find confidence in doing something that makes me happy. With so much sadness going on I hope I’m confident enough to help and create more in this city 🌷💗

I went to Prague and Berlin with one of my favorite Scorpios and got into Berghain like one of my other favorite Scorpios Drake probably not places my other favorite Scorpio Frank Ocean. I really try not to be parasocial but I’m a big fan of Scorpios who make art we tend to be very passionate about what we create and I love seeing it mastered at a high level. It’s sad when Scorpios don’t reach their full potential and are in constant state of Phoenix energy. I’ve been there most of my life but I’m starting to get out of stagnation. Maybe I’m too spread thin but I believe I have many talents for a reason.
And my season of rest was absolutely perfect for me. I wouldn’t change a thing, I love it here🌹❤️🌺🥀

This year I created a space big enough to accept that I may never be able to afford a Europe trip. But as soon as I accepted it. The universe had other plans :) I didn’t plan on having a trip that rewired my nervous system but here we are, not that trip its self but the deepening of a very important friendship in my life. LET WOMEN HEAL YOU. So grateful for this feeling I feel calm and present and very boring. Thank you all for watching my trip and enjoying the stories. I’m so humbled by the little I’ve experienced of Europe and excited for more adventures. Will you join me?

I’d rather take the hint than have the conversation. It’s the default setting my personality clings to when I get anxious. I tried growing out of that behavior this year! I really tried!
Everyone is the star of their own movie. No one is immune to the perspectives of many. Thankfully situations are more complex than “I’m just an unloveable person” something I’ve felt for many years. At times I was so depressed this winter the lights were out above the tunnel too and I had to depend on stars.
I love the lines in the song Star Game by @ “hey I won’t be your opponent, I’m powerless under those ancient eyes.”This year I had to let go of a quiet dream I’ve kept away from no one but the person I should of told. I’m happy I’m finally strong enough to let them go, and I’m happy this time to go quietly, with my heart breaking just a lil each day as the weather gets nice, and still in love but in love with myself more.

I actually don’t believe saint valentine existed. I believe this was a tradition amalgamated from different pagan sacrifices, one in which they murdered many goats and one dog in the belief that it would grant woman fertility in the coming year.
The idea that one man died in the pursuit of marrying Christian soldiers that weren’t allowed to wed sounds like whatever Nicki Minaj is preaching and right wing propaganda.
#but Valentine’s Day is my favorite holiday. I love love, friendship and fostering community. It brings me the most joy facilitating the joy of others and watching ppl achieve their big dreams. Love being the biggest one of all for me. If I never experience romantic love again, I hope to always be present to witness it.
