💙 On Friday, we welcomed students and parents to the fantastic Drop10 fitness studio in City Walk for a SWA Parent Engagement event like no other. The studio was packed and the energy was electric as our SWA students worked side by side their parent in a family friendly workout. Thank you to the parents and students who joined us - both leading from the front and supporting each other through the session. Frank placed 1st 🥇🏆 in the Senior Street & Commercial Solo category with his powerful concept piece based on ADHD. He has been part of the @wsoadrenalineydc programme since Year 3 and has trained with the company for the past eight years. Throughout this time, he has developed into an exceptional and versatile performer, with achievements across UDO Middle East, UDO World Championships, UDO Asia Pacific, GPAA, Da Source and many other major events. His winning solo showcased not only strong technical performance skills, but also his ability to interpret and communicate a meaningful concept through dance in a powerful and authentic way. Alongside his success in solos, battles and team performances, Frank has become a firm role model for the younger boys within the provision. Despite his achievements and experience, he remains incredibly humble, hardworking and respected by both his peers and teachers. Frank is currently in his first year of the Pearson BTEC International Level 2 Performing Arts – Hip Hop Culture, Street & Commercial Dance Pathway, continuing to develop both as a performer and young creative artist. Our Celebration of Gratitude marking the 50th Unification Day and the national occasion “Under One Flag and One Command” was a wonderful success. It was truly heartwarming to see our Emirati students proudly celebrating their culture, heritage, and national identity alongside peers, staff, and families. The atmosphere created by the traditional band and shared breakfast brought a real sense of unity and community across the school. Firstly, it was so amazing to see so much talent across the UAE dance scene and we absolutely loved supporting and cheering on all of the other dance schools and studios throughout the weekend.❤️ In one of the toughest dance competitions in the Middle East. Surrounded by some of the region’s leading studios and training programmes.
