Which is why after my oldest Son
@delgardofranklinii and I produced the track with the help of my good man for over 20 years
@gemstarpro I called on Nim to write the lyrics because I got stuck after the hook jhi wrote itself.
Which is why we couldn’t drop until we got the go-ahead and some great feedback from some of my respected DMV DJs and tastemakers.

I don’t mean to be telling his business, however this record is deeply personal for Nim as he was going thru a breakup when I told him I didn’t know what tf to do after I laid the hook. He’s one of the dopest young pens and multi hyphenated artists coming out of the DMV. His R&B range is as dope as his hiphop sh**. And he’s a helluva stage performer as well.
This record is deeply personal for me as well as it literally made me channel real-life sh** that I’ve had to deal with and pull personal perspective from.
