Every now and then I get overwhelmed by this deep sense of contentment that my life is panning out exactly as its meant to.
Like swell rolling in towards shallow reef, these beautiful moments arise out of nowhere.
I feel calm wash over me and suddenly all the fears and all the risk I had perceived seem completely irrelevant next to the life I'm creating.
It isn't always like this of course.
But when it is, I like to revel in it.
It's good to be alive.

What is your definition of happiness? ๐๐๐๐๐
To me- itโs a perfect, empty, peeling left hand point break at sunset with a handful of good mates sharing waves. No assholes, no egos. Just everyone having a good time. I think this might be what heaven looks like.
Looking forward to another DEEP dive into the underwater canyons on our wild coastline soon. Letโs see who comes up to greet us this time. ๐ฅน๐๐ฆ๐ค

2025 has come and gone and boy, was it a big one. ๐๐ฅ๐โ๏ธ.
I didnโt post a reflective piece, didnโt make a resolutions list or even meditate on a gratitude summary for the year gone by. The festive season has been a whirlwind of sleep deprivation, long work hours and a very busy but also extremely successful time for business. This last year has been one for hard graft, grounding, building networks, expanding my knowledge base and skill set, learning to depart situations with grace, saying โnoโ more, accepting my human limitations & for putting in place safety nets to catch me when I fall into the same old patterns. ๐
๐๏ธ As a natural free bird who thrives with change, travel, novelty and freedom, this year has been a constant lesson in the value of continuity, grounding and rooting. This was a stop-start year for me- constantly gearing up for travel only to be cancelled last minute due to surprise circumstances. The wild cat in me forced to be predominately in one place, to resist my urge to flee, fly, discover and instead learn to sit with the discomfort of stability. This has been my biggest lesson and toughest growth period of 2025.
The year of the snake ๐ has peeled off old safety blankets I put in place and revealed a raw but evolved version of me that I didnโt know I needed and am still learning how to be.
Absolutely no idea what 2026 will bring but undoubtedly the Fire Horse has some more lessons up her sleeve. ๐ฅ๐ด
Iโm ready. ๐ฅโจ
