The goose traffic was terrible at spaghetti junction today on the way home from work. Also serious goose-road-rage. Ground to a halt and long delays (on my bike)
Anyone want to commission a project where these beings can really come to life? I would really like to do more designs for musicians? If you were born in the 70s you might understand where these came from… or not… but why I ‘birthed’ them I don’t quite know yet…

The glow of this place - always with plenty of colour and light in the windows which are like mini stage set designs. This was the reason I recommended and designed this neon sign for @walsallcreativefactory
It’s the also the beating heart of this community. Flowers and creations burst out onto the streets regularly accompanied by a theme or activities for families. Thank you @beckiemery_ for this last pic 😘
Two of my favourite things happen here. Pictured here are Clay club friends @juliaw383 and @sadienewman77 last night (we play with clay every other Tuesday night). Writers group for me there this coming Friday night too led by @david_calcutt

This has boosted my confidence and reminded me to ‘just enter’ or ‘go ahead and submit’ - a reminder please too to women probably who might well hesitate before putting your work forward.

The truth is I took these pics to send off to be included in this exhibition. And I got selected! Launches this Friday. For those lovely people who asked to buy one you can DM me or buy via @nook_kingsheath for the next month at their TASTE exhibition. It’s been wonderful to create something for husband Chris’ food (he’s a chef) that makes me want to make more and boosted my confidence in all things clay.
Prompt 28: Last!
That is the word and the final collage #februllage2026 Every February evening I’ve settled into my nest of cuttings, tired and mostly lacking ideas after a full working day. But the process took me on a small and deeply satisfying trip. Some are a bit lame but I brashly posted them out regardless. It was the rule I set. It made me do it. I therefore learnt a lot from the 28 cut and tear experiments: that inky marks and layers of drama are my favourite. That I am impatient (I knew that already). That I like things that are headless (I knew that too). Working to see how abstract I could become without loosing the idea or link to the prompt word. And the soundtrack was fun too.
Big thank you to @februllage for the prompts and for feeding a collage community. And for helping me through what can potentially be a short dark dull month.
