While Im working with clients we often talk about The Big Moment, and how the proposal will unfold. Personally I like the un-instagrammed places, cozy corners to snuggle into and make memories in. Hotels that value digression and have the most welcoming family-like service. These are a few places I adore with mon amour.
1. L’Alma Paris - Apparently Sancerre is a breakfast wine? But this is the place to enjoy it with lunch any time of day…
2. Lobster Club Puerto Portals - A long lunch that turns into cocktails poolside overlooking the most beautiful corner of the ocean If your there for the day (reccomended) you can stroll down the beach to a shack staring back at you with the best cocktails before a swim back.
3. La Peau De Vache - Lunch in Val D I’sere, a pitstop before the most famous run in the resort. Dutch courage encouraged to get over the edge.
4. Ville D’este - One we are returning to this summer, old school elegance and romance, from the jetty to the private boat trips, while you sit there you can imagine the stories that unfolded here over the years.
5. Na Petra Porto Petro - After a day on the water, Arrive by boat, preferably not a swan attached to the back of the boat like my father… and you’ll discover a cluster of restaurants. Na Petra seats you with your feat pretty much in the water, if you’re there for a later booking you’ll experience the secret bar/club in the back.
6. Can Axartell - wine tasting afternoons and architecture in the heart of Mallorca.
7. La Reserve - True romance in Paris.
8. Lefay Dolomiti - I have told everyone about this hotel. The food the wine, the spa, is just flawless. Go for bike trips in the summer or skiing in the winter, every ingredient is grown locally and attention to detail in design is inspirational.

10. Airelles Val’D Isere. An open fire, charming instillations and just pure romance of the alps and French hospitality.
