I’m so unbelievably proud to share the official artwork for my new song ‘Hoshia’
This song contains so much of the pain and heartbreak that’s sewn into the very DNA of the Jewish people. Loss is part of who we are. I’ve written and released records that speak about rising above it all, conquering the pain in our hearts, overcoming heartbreak with impossible odds.
But sometimes the pain becomes so great that all we have to do is submit to ‘ה. “Save me from this broken world, my Father ❤️🩹.” This song is literally begging ‘ה to save us. To turn death into life. To save us from hopelessness and despair. I hope that in your darkest moments you may find comfort.
@mraturner Thank you for bringing my inner world to life with this record. I truly believe that there is divine energy present whenever we create magic in the studio. You have a God given talent that shines through in everything you do. Hoshia is another example of how much you mean to the Gelf project. Well done, achi 🤝
@jakeantelis You are the master of mastering. Your finishing touches took the record to the next level. I’m inspired by your work and how much you care. Thank you.
@seth_maza You’re a wizard on the keys 🎹 I always hoped that we would work together on something and I’m happy that we finally did on Hoshia. You are a mensch and you’re impossibly talented. Thank you.
@alizagelf_ You cried the first time you heard the Hoshia chorus. No one has ever believed in me the way you do. No one roots for me like you do. No aspect of the Gelf project moves forward without your masterful eye. You’re the ultimate life partner. Thank you for helping craft the Hoshia vision and aesthetic. Thank you for everything you are. ♥️
Hoshia is out everywhere. Please listen and connect 🙏
Everything I have in this moment… it’s all from You!!!
So proud to officially share HALELU with all of you. Hope this lifts your soul the way it’s lifted ours 🙏
Huge thank you to producer and great friend @mraturner 🐐
HALELU out now
~ @danny_palgon & @gelf___
The bridge of ‘Tzama’ was the most difficult part to write. I was back and forth with Avi for weeks and we even recorded a few alternate versions of the bridge in the studio. Unlike the rest of the song this bridge just wasn’t right.
But I kept coming back to this line…”please keep my heart close enough to let some light in.” Eventually it clicked and the rest of the puzzle pieces fell into place.
I hope you enjoy listening to the song as much as I enjoyed writing it.
TZAMA OUT EVERYWHERE!
Beyond grateful for the way you all have embraced my new song ‘Tzama’
I’ve been reading all your messages about the song and I’m so moved by how you’re all connecting to it in such a deep way.
