It’s always a funny one when you release music…. You spend so long crafting it, then hours behind the scenes trying to get ducks in a row - then it’s out, and the date that you’ve been working towards for all these months arrives! We are knackered 😅 putting this album together has been a whirlwind… Gee has found her first grey hair and jay is seeing the wrinkles creep in 😅 but growth is a part of life! We feel that our music has matured with this project too…. We have both wanted strings and real life instrumentation since we started and have now been able to make this happen… the string lines were written by @v.i.n.c.e.n.t.music and played by @thatviolakid @yasmeenx @danierdanger big thanks to @derekdaleymusic for filling the low end with rich bass … and to give that real life, human movement, we’ve got drums by @tompotterdrums @fin_millard 🎻🎸🥁 We hope you can find some time in this world, which feels extra sped up atm, to sit with this project and listen to it in its entirety in the way we have intended for it to be heard as a collection of sounds and messages. ‘Who Have I Become?’ is now yours ❤️

We welcomed our second daughter into the world a couple of months ago! Life’s been on fast forward since then 😭 the show, Xmas, admin, new music, you know the drill lol. Talking of new music, when Gee was 8 months pregnant, we wrote, and then recorded a song about the feeling of excitement and anticipation of meeting a new soul for the first time… ‘Can’t Wait to Meet You’ is out today! BIG love to @jazzfmuk for welcoming the song into their B playlist too!!! ✨✨✨ It’s the final single that we’re releasing before the album drops on March 6th!
