I want to take the time to thank all who have contributed to our fundraising efforts for The Assassination of President William R Tolbert. Please Visit Tolbertmovie.com to contribute to bring this project to a wider audience.
Compromise and negotiation are often mistaken for the same thing, but they are fundamentally different.
Compromise is leaving the table with shared sacrifice. Everyone gains something, but no one leaves with everything they wanted.
Negotiation hits much deeper. It is recognizing that people can desire the same outcome, yet clash over the path required to reach it. The tension is rarely in the vision. It is usually in the method.
Wisdom is found in the space between standing firm and moving together.
Because sometimes the greatest success is not in winning the argument, but in choosing not to lose each other on the journey.
On this day in of the National Mental Health Infrastructure Pilot, we had to slow down long enough to determine where we go from here. A LOT stood in the balance. When the waves subsided, we could see the same path to the shore. So happy the @t2scares U.S. Delegation and Ministry of Health are choosing to go far - together. 😉

After the screening of The Assassination of President William R. Tolbert Jr., we got to speak to @gcomptonesq and her beautiful family who shared their powerful reactions and reflections on this important Liberian story — one that explores power, politics, betrayal, and legacy during a turbulent time in West Africa.
Documentaries like this are important because they tell history and force us to confront it, understand it, and learn from it.
Watch what they had to say ⬆️

His name is Henry B. Wounda, and he was an amazing human. Learning of his death shocked me. I had to travel to his village to pay my final respects. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
On our final night in Monrovia, Liberia 🇱🇷, the T2SCares team and I, were treated to a 5 course dinner at the home of Amb. Neh Dukley-Tolbert. At 91, Aunty Neh is the personification of world class elegance, fierceness and a wealth of knowledge. What an honor to be in her presence. #LIBstandup #lesstalkmoreaction #Liberiawillrise
