Had a chat with a trainee after her 1st lesson. This is what I picked up: Fear acknowledged & Risk managed. With this mindset, the right foundation is being built. #womeninriding🇬🇭 #changingthewayweride🇬🇭 #motorcyclingcanbedoneright🇬🇭 #motorcyclingcanbedonesafely🇬🇭

Emergency braking on a motorcycle is all about controlling the bike to stop quickly and safety. 1. Apply both brakes: Use both front and rear brakes together for maximum effect. The front brake does most of the work (about 70%). 2. Gradual pressure: Squeeze the brakes smoothly but firmly to avoid locking the wheels. 3. Body position: Keep your body upright and eyes focused ahead to maintain balance. 4. Avoid panic: Stay calm and think ahead to steer clear off obstacles after stopping. Tip: Practice in a safe area with cones to get the feel of emergency braking.
