We were honored to have Cara and Matt from @ozarkoverlandadventures be a part of the GEAR Summit. This is what GEAR is all about. Bringing together the offroad and firearms communities and giving each other new insights into our worlds.
And this coming weekend Cara is MCing Adventure Her - an event where women from all across the country gather to offroad at Merus Adventure Park. And by the way fellas. Cara can out wheel all of us. Go watch their coverage of their trip to Easter Jeep Safari. And now she wants her own AR too. It doesn't get any better than this.
This just hits different! I’ve been fortunate enough to shoot a @barrettfirearms .50 Cal a number of times, but somehow shooting it over Palo Duro Canyon at the first ever @gear_summit held at @merusadventure was really a new experience. I am so thrilled that this was a part of the event, and so many people got to do it; if it was this cool for me, (someone who’s done it a number of times), imagine someone who was never even touched a gun before doing it!
