🚀None of this happens without the people working behind the scenes. The 11th CASSINI Hackathon: Space for Water in Skopje was brought to life by an organizational team that spent months planning, coordinating, and problem solving so that everything could run smoothly when it mattered most.
From logistics and venue setup to speaker coordination, participant communication, mentoring schedules, catering, and the countless small fires that nobody in the audience ever sees, this team carried it all. Three days of hackathon required weeks of preparation, and every detail was handled with care and dedication.
To everyone on the organizing team: your work made it possible for nineteen teams to focus entirely on building their ideas without worrying about anything else. That is the highest compliment an event team can receive. You created the conditions for innovation to happen, and it did.
A special shoutout goes to our Simona, who spent the hackathon weekend physically on the southern hemisphere of the planet on her honeymoon, yet somehow never left our group chat. Most people use satellite data to track water. Simona used it to stay connected with us from the other side of the globe. Dedication does not even begin to cover it.
And then there are Martina and Bobi, joining us from the United States, with Martina literally working at NASA by day and coordinating hackathon activities by night. If that is not the definition of living and breathing space, we do not know what is.
Thank you for your commitment, your patience, and your energy. Skopje delivered once again, and that is because of you.❤️
Behind every great hackathon is a panel of judges willing to ask the hard questions, challenge assumptions, and recognize potential where it matters most. The 11th CASSINI Hackathon: Space for Water was no exception.🙌
To our judges: thank you for the time, the attention, and the honest feedback you gave to every single team that pitched this weekend. You brought a level of expertise and commitment that elevated the entire competition. Your questions pushed teams to think sharper, your evaluations carried weight and fairness, and your presence reminded every participant that their work was being taken seriously by people who truly understand the field.🙏
Judging nineteen projects across three challenge areas in a single session is no small task, and you handled it with focus and professionalism from start to finish.
We hope to see you again at the next edition. Innovation needs critical minds just as much as it needs creative ones, and you delivered both.🚀
