this is a rough one
but today is my birthday and the greatest gift i’ve ever received has of course been stella. losing a pet is a unique pain, and this dog’s imprint upon me and anyone she met only echoes that sentiment. but that’s the thing—the sheer thought of her paw asking for more pets, her soul-piercing gaze, or her (let’s be honest) face for instagram brings me a joy much more powerful than any sorrow i’ve felt. i hope that anyone who loved her shares in that feeling, and her memory is more than a blessing. gonna miss her like hell.
