The feature that defines this home is the fully sculpted staircase.
Building a centerpiece like this requires precision engineering long before the finish work begins. We fabricated the stair carriages off-site, framed them into the structure, and finished them with layers of hand-applied plaster to create a seamless, monolithic look.
The goal was intentional simplicity: white oak, plaster, and natural light. As you move up the stairs, the curve tightens, pulling your eye toward the skylight that washes the entire space in light. This is where function meets design, step by step.

This staircase serves as the home’s true centerpiece, an architectural statement where every line is intentional and every detail is custom-fit. The transition from the bold checkerboard entryway to these rift-sawn white oak treads was carefully planned to create a seamless, refined flow.
Fitting a curved stair into a structure like this is a genuine challenge where nothing is square; every piece has to line up perfectly or you redo it. By using a hand-applied plaster finish for the guardrails, we achieved a sculptural centerpiece that anchors the entire project.

Old world character meets modern engineering. For this custom bar, we paired a white oak countertop with fluted millwork bases to create a texture that is both timeless and precise.
The back bar was built on-site and features a @verometal_ finish imported from Italy. Applied over an MDF base, the process requires multiple coats and meticulous hand-buffing at every stage to achieve its aged, metallic patina. We even integrated the finish onto a custom cabinet that doubles as a hidden entrance to the lower level.

Stone by stone, a craft that defies time, slate that will stand for generations.
This project features a European-style graduated slate roof where the pattern intentionally shrinks as it moves up from the eaves. We salvaged nearly half of the original slate to maintain the home’s character, supplementing it with new milled slate for the additions. Every detail was addressed, from the 18-inch exposure at the base to the custom copper-wrapped crown and fascia.
