As part of our goals and responsibilities at #GBAM Foundation, we had the opportunity to rehabilitate the Azi Nyako Youth Centre in Jos, Plateau State, in collaboration with the Plateau State Government and the Plateau State Tourism Corporation.
The rehabilitation project included:
* Comprehensive structural and masonry maintenance carried out on the basketball court and surrounding facilities.
* Complete repainting of the basketball court and its environs to restore functionality and visual appeal.
* Provision of solar lighting around the basketball court to support night games
Following the completion of the rehabilitation, the upgraded court was officially launched during the #GBAM Tournaments, held as part of the Jos Family Christmas Festival, in partnership with the Plateau State Tourism Corporation.
After the launch, the facility was formally handed back to the community for continued use, maintenance, and access, in support of ongoing youth engagement and sports development in the state.

As the Executive Director of the #GBAM Foundation, I’ve been exploring ways to grow the organization while blending food and sports into one creative ecosystem.
The #GBAM Foundation is a youth-focused social impact organization built around Graffiti, Basketball, and Music, using all three as tools for empowerment, education, and community development. And since Chef Jemmy is now involved, we’re definitely adding food to the mix 😁🍽️.
My role here isn’t as easy as it might sound. It takes time, learning, patience, and a lot of adaptability. I’m still learning the game of basketball and really understanding how the whole basketball ecosystem works, both on and off the court.
From time to time, I’ll be sharing projects I’ve personally supervised and worked on through #GBAM. This is definitely a learning journey for me, and I’m excited to build, grow, and create real impact along the way.
History made at the #GBAM Jos Championship.
Team Rebirth dominated the court, with both the men’s and women’s teams claiming championship titles. A powerful statement about excellence, depth, and the future of the game on the plateau.
Congratulations to Team Rebirth , champions in every sense.
Today we celebrate the CEO of #GBAM and also the Founder of #GBAM Foundation, for the vision, the sacrifices, and the quiet work that has made all the results so visible.
Thank you Sir for always leading with passion and clear purpose.

Behind every clean play and fair call are referees running the full court so that the game can shine.
Thank you for keeping basketball honest. 👏🏼
