Little Moments is officially HERE!! When a project is finally done and you’ve spent years working on a it, it’s always a little agonizing trying to firgure out what to say about bringing it into the world. I am really proud of this album! I want people to hear it! But what could I say that would make you want to listen to it? What would make you excited about it? I decided that I would share a list of some of the things that make me excited about it. Maybe that will make you love it, too. :-)
🌸Most of these songs were recorded live with minimal overdubs. I played and sang the guitar live with the band. Every recording I’ve ever done, I’ve always gone back to do the vocals separately. It felt really good to keep what I sang with the band on the final recording! It feels more authentic! Alive!
🌸This album was recorded top to bottom in 2 days.
🌸We recorded this album 2 weeks before my son was born. His ears were fully developed! Photos for proof.
🌸While we are talking about having a secret freeloader during this project, he was also there during the photo shoot for the album cover. I didn’t know it until a few days after we took them, but he was there!

DO YOU KNOW GAVIN? This is Gavin Paddock! @gavinpaddock produced ‘Little Moments’! Gavin went to @umasslowell with @kenbudkamusic and they recored his debut album “Time Flies” while they were in school together. He also played drums on that album! Gavin won a GRAMMY for his work on the album “We Are” by Jon Batiste. Album of the year in 2021. WHAT?! He doesn’t really toot his own horn so I’m over here like TOOT TOOT TOOT TOOT! Gavin Rocks. Gavin writes songs!! They are catchy and hooky and artsy and weird and groovy. All the good things. You can find his music at @psych.camp . I feel really lucky to have worked with someone who was so heartfelt and specific about helping to bring these songs to life. He really found a way in and I’m grateful for all his care with these songs. THANK YOU Gavin for being such an amazing shepherd! You are an excellent team captain.
