Hey folks, itâs Gavin McGee here! So, Iâm 23 years old and based out of Norwalk, CT. Fun fact about meâI used to sling sandwiches at a deli, but now Iâm all about making music. My sound? Itâs this awesome blend of American Folk and Alt-Rock that just hits different, you know? People have compared my voice to artists like Caamp and Zach Bryan, which is pretty flattering.
Just dropped a new track called âLoan,â and let me tell you, itâs been a journey bringing this one to life. The songâs all about feeling like youâre constantly giving without receiving the love you deserve. Itâs got that indie-rock vibe thatâs just raw and real.
We recorded âLoanâ over at Red Caiman Studios in Pittsburgh, PA. And guess what? Iâm working on my second EP, âWhat Was Will Be Againâ, slated to drop this summer. This albumâs diving into some personal stuffâmemory, mental health, you name it.
My journey really kicked off back in college when I won this contest with the student record label. Next thing I knew, I was in the studio, laying down tracks like a pro.
But hey, itâs not all about the studio life. I love hitting the stage too, from small DIY gigs to bigger venues across New England. And Iâve had the chance to share the stage with some amazing acts like Mihali from Twiddle and Flipturn from Florida.
