We are very excited to announce that, in partnership with Sonor drums, we are hosting ‘An Evening with @gavinharrison ’ and what an evening it will be! Gavin Harrison is widely regarded as one of the most inventive and expressive drummers in modern progressive music. Best known for his long-standing work with Porcupine Tree, King Crimson and The Pineapple Thief, he is a highly respected, multi-award-winning musician whose playing has featured on countless studio and live recordings. Due to it being such a special event and to enable as many as possible to attend, we are hosting the event at Thornden Hall in Southampton - a purpose-built theatre space with high-level acoustics, lighting, and tiered seating. It’s a fantastic venue and there’s also plenty of free parking. Both Gavin and Graham would like the evening to be interactive with questions from the audience however, due to logistics (the size of the venue and the difficulty in getting a microphone around the audience), we have decided to invite you to send in any questions via email in advance. Graham will put a selection of these to Gavin during the evening. So, if there’s something you’ve always wanted to ask, please send your questions, along with your name, to [email protected] Gavin & Graham will be choosing the best ones in the lead-up to the event, so, if you want to get chosen, keep them short and make them interesting!
