Are you still confused on how to register to vote? Well, don’t stress! Here is our voter registration guide!
FAQs from out-of-state students:
— Q: Do I put both my SSN and my GT Buzzcard number (i.e. 903…) ?
— A: YES! Make sure to put your FULL SSN and your Buzzcard. It will make your registration process go faster and is less likely to have issues.
— Q: I don’t have a valid GA ID? What do I put in that section?
—A: You do actually!! Your Buzzcard serves as a valid Georgia ID, so make sure you put you Buzzcard # in that space!
— Q: It says not to fold over the paper, but how do I mail it?
— A: Those instructions are for the “official” papers Fulton county gives out when they table. To mail it, you need to put it in an envelope, stamped and seal, so folding is necessary.
GT’s Voters of Tomorrow (@gatech_vot ) takes home SGA’s Presidential Honor Award! Congratulations to public policy students Alexa Bowman Olay and Lillian Hanson, who launched the initiative four years ago and continue to make an impact.
Last Wednesday at the Annual SGA Banquet, VOT@GT was awarded the SGA's Presidential Honor Award by @sultanjziyad . This award is in recognition of outstanding dedication, leadership, and service to the Georgia Tech community. With the 2026 theme being "Leading Through Disruption", our organization was honored to receive the distinction. Thank you @gtsga for this honor, and congratulations to all the other honorees!

Members joined today’s protest in Atlanta, bringing donuts and connecting with the community! Thank you so much to @donutsndemocracy for the supplies and the sweet treats. We helped people register to vote, update their addresses, and encouraged everyone to make a plan to vote. Change starts with us, and we encourage our members to stand up for what they believe in! 🗳️🍩
Happy March! Although we’ve already begun our new semester, we’re thrilled to introduce some new executive officers. It’s never too late to announce a change! Congratulations to our new officers killing their role!

🗳️ Attention Georgia Tech Students! There will be NO on-campus voting precinct this fall, so make sure you have a plan to head to your designated polling place on Election Day on Tuesday, November 4th!
SGA has put together a Voting Resource Guide to help you, which includes all of the information you need to make your voice heard in Georgia’s upcoming local and state elections. Make sure to get out and vote!
We are so excited to announce our upcoming event: The Civic Engagement Panel. The panel will serve as an opportunity for a diverse group of civic leaders in their own field to discuss the importance of civic engagement and political discussion. Through conversations based on their experience and background, the panel will spark conversations on the political landscape and the importance of student/youth engagement and involvement. Please join us on Oct. 29th! Food is provided!!
