This Friday the final building blocks are put in place. The One EP was written through a time of worship, stillness, transformation and revelation. God doing things within and it turning into an outpouring of worship. Reverence and honour being the main thing, recognising that God is the One who makes it happen, he is constant and sees what we don’t, He’s always there and always faithful, and over everything, He reigns! And that reign is for eternity and we can come to Him whenever we want and we can sing a song to Him whenever we want. This music is here to help us all put down the needs, asks and wants and to just simply come and honour the One who is worthy.
Out Friday 1st May.
Pre-save in bio.

The last few years have been somewhat tumultuous for us. Uncertainty coming with most days and some life-changing/disruptive events. Having my back issues and an operation, nearly losing everything because of it not even being able to sit in a chair some days. Completely stuck.
We can call this part 1 because there’s a lot to say.
This year we were told to leave our house which meant me losing my studio, having to move, adjust and dealing with tricky and difficult situations which God graciously spoke to us and gave direction but it left us with questions like “why?”, “what’s the point in all this?” wondering how is this going to become a testimony over trauma? It exhausted us. Plus, I’d already said I believed in God and what He’s told me, and meant it wholeheartedly.
We’re not out of the woods yet but God is still there. Being constant and true to who He is. The stuck periods and seasons are where God shows His faithfulness in a different way. We just need to keep coming to Him in reverence and honour.
And in any case, even though we’d seen Gods faithfulness many times before, I can’t expect to write a song of devotion to God being faithful and not experience it first hand.
This one wasn’t all written by me either. God saw that there was more than one story to be told. My friend @amybkelland wrote some of it too and has joined me on the song.
Part 2 coming soon.

Complete uncertainty. I’ve found that in that place, much like we’re in now can be the place where our faith is really tested. Where in our most stressed and difficult place God can show so much of what He knows and how powerful, kind and good He really is.
Much like Joshua when the Israelites were camping by the river Jordan. Displaced & homeless, all they could see was where they were going but not how to get there. There was land to the left, right and behind them, an overflowing river and no boat. Likely no time to build rafts because their enemy was approaching. And they were approaching strong.
But Joshua knew what God had said and asked him to do. Pack up camp & start with a few steps into the river. So he did it. He didn’t know how it was going to play out but he knew God. He knew that God knows all things and he put his trust in Him.
We know how this story ends, with God remaining undefeated, showing His power and also showing His love and faithfulness.
So we can sing “You know all things” & “You are greater than all things” in any season and at any point because no matter what or when, He is constant and over everything.
You Know All Things - 20th March
Yesterday I released my first song in nearly 3 years. Over that time I’ve I found myself desperate to draw near to God and to know His heart more. I’ve experienced His faithfulness and goodness in different seasons through health and through physical recovery. Stillness was needed and stillness was what I ended up in with a bit (a lot) of chaos thrown in.
It showed me what He wants to hear from me. I became desperate to just worship Him for who He is. No asks, no wants other than to draw close. I love Jeremiah 29:13 - “If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me” and I did more so than I ever imagined.
This song (and the ones coming) have come from my own silence and solitude, but for the church to sing together. However that looks in the future I don’t know. But I know who does. And even if just one person worships and seeks God with it, then the job is done. ❤️

I completely forgot that this is out today. Being in an incredibly busy season but seeing so many good things coming. Prayers we prayed years ago are coming to life and the difficulties are getting bigger. But there’s one thing I know is that we have a faithful God who isn’t going away. This song has come out of a pivotal point in my own freedom from living under a lie that I’d held onto for years. Being treated the way I was as a kid by some bad (and probably hurting) teachers and kids and as an adult living under those lies that nobody wanted me, I wasn’t good enough and nothing I ever do will work. I was reminded in my own personal worship time that it isn’t me who fixes this. I had to surrender it to God. So a 5:30am wake up and 19 hours in my studio (which is quite a story in itself came to this. I pray it helps get us all in the right position to do the same. #renewthesehearts #christianmusic #worshipleaders #worshipper #jesus #christisrisen
