Great night last night celebrating my birthday gift from my son with my son Marcus Weiss seeing Snarky Puppy! The opening band The Nth Power was off the charts. Tight and funky! Nikki Glaspies drumming was tasteful, powerful and solid throughout. Her vocals were impeccable. I’ll have to research the two other guys because they were equally impressive in their own right. Snarky Puppy was mesmerizing. Captivating. Hypnotic. And Jamison Ross held the drum chair perfectly. I wasn’t familiar with him at first. What a perfect night. Oh and the sound was incredible especially for a 10 piece band with multiple instruments a piece!
So yesterday I had the pleasure of hanging out with The Rocker Lorenzo Mameli at Makerparkradio.nyc talking about artists I’ve worked with and playing their music as well as other local talent. It was a blast. We didn’t hit nearly as many topics as hoped since we ran out of time in our 3 hours! I got a lot of positive feedback and some people who missed it. If you were of the latter then I’m posting the link to view at your leisure. Thanks to Lorenzo and Maker Park for having me! 🤘✌️

Wishing a Happy Anniversary to my beautiful, loving wife Kelly Weiss who without her I would be nothing. Her love and support is monumental and has kept us going for almost 4 decades. Being married to a working musician is NOT easy but she makes it seem that way. Love ya babe!!!❤️
I was overdue for a full length recording/video, and this one was a doozie!!! Here's a snippet from our rocked out version of Walter Murphy's "A Fifth of Beethoven" featuring the incredible guitar shredding of Steve Booke and the thunderous drumming of Gary Weiss. Click here for the full video:
