Weekend’s here.
Sun on your face, somewhere to be (or nowhere at all), and a proper pair of frames to take you there. Beach days, long drives, late lunches, getting lost on purpose, wherever the next few days lead, the right sunglasses make it all feel a little better. Take your pick.
Every GLCO frame’s design begins in California.
More specifically, at the ROW DTLA. That’s where our literal offices are. But the ROW’s more than just a spot where we’ve set up our desks and a space to discuss, debate, and develop things. Thought up by Los Angeles architect John Parkinson, whose other works include City Hall, USC’s Memorial Coliseum, and Union Station, it’s a big, iconic, concrete piece of LA and California history, and a vision in itself. The views are pretty nice here too.
Our collections draw from the people and places that shape our perspective. The result is eyewear that balances daily inspirations, lived-in legacies, and heritage craftsmanship.
Here’s to a Mother’s Day filled with joy, laughter, and the knowledge that you are deeply loved and appreciated. To the remarkable women whose presence brightens the world, happy Mother’s Day.

A classic silhouette, a commanding double bridge, and hand-finished details. And, it comes in more-than-agreeable colorways too. The Doc is in.

Here at GLCO, we often talk about how our frames reflect our city’s timeless design. Cool, what does that actually mean, though? Let’s start on the Doc. They’re inspired by the silhouettes regularly worn by the late, legendary Lakers owner Dr Jerry Buss, and they’re pure showtime.
Appreciation, ideation, and arrangement. Now that’s a winning lineup. Docs in five.
How do you roll?
GLCO x Old Pal, as seen on you.
From slow mornings to whatever the day turns into, this is what it looks like in real life.
Keep ‘em coming. 😎🌱
The Doc? On Andy? Groundbreaking.
It’s funny how you design something, send it out into the world, and then one day it ends up on Anne Hathaway on the set of The Devil Wears Prada 2. No big plan, just one of those full circle moments that makes you pause for a second.
Anyway, we’re thinking a movie night’s in order for our Friday. Catch us in The Devil Wears Prada 2. That’s all.
A Moment With GLCO — We sat down with Rusty (@theoldestpal ), co-founder of Old Pal, to talk about Los Angeles, creative alignment, and what makes a collaboration feel effortless.
From building on an already natural partnership to bringing the “Ready to Roll” vision to life, this second chapter reflects a shared appreciation for craftsmanship, culture, and the laid-back lifestyle that connects both brands.
