Still trying to take this moment in…
Seeing my Martuni scarf carried into such a meaningful cultural exchange, and worn during this meeting between Glendale and Japanese dignitaries, is something I could have never imagined.
This piece was created with so much history and emotion behind it, honoring Martuni, Artsakh, and the legacy of Amaras Monastery, where language, knowledge, and identity were once rooted and continue to live through us.
I’m deeply grateful to Mayor Kassakhian @ardykassakhian for not only sharing this story, but for continuously preserving and elevating our culture in such intentional and powerful ways. This is what it means to carry memory forward.
A special thank you as well to @13noray for her unwavering efforts and dedication to the cause, and for continuing to uplift and advocate for Artsakh in meaningful ways. ❤️ it truly matters. 🙏🏻
Moments like this remind me why I create 🤍

Some places never leave you. 💫
I was born and raised in Antelias, Lebanon; a town that carries deep meaning for Armenians around the world as the home of the Mother See of the Armenian Apostolic Church of Cilicia. The cathedral, its stone, its silhouette, and its presence were always part of the landscape of my childhood.
Today, on the “Ուխտի օր Անթիլիասի” I wanted to honor that connection through design.
Using the architectural outline of the cathedral, I created a typographic composition of the “Our Father” prayer, where the structure of the church itself becomes the form of the letters. The piece was then rendered in 3D using the exact stone texture and color of the cathedral, echoing the material and spirit of the original building.
A small tribute to a place that shaped my beginnings, and to a heritage that continues to inspire my work.
