Always reminiscing of August a few years ago when I painted en plein air in Montana. My parents just got back and it has me thinking of all of the western inspiration!šŸ”ļø

You heard me🤭 🦌 Here’s why: I believe your walls not only need to be filled with color and life and style— they need to be filled with things that bring you JOY and MEMORIES! And to some people, a harvest on the wall takes them back in time to a success, overcoming challenges, core memories with loved ones, I could go on! Can you tell I love the outdoors?! Tell me, what kind of mounts are on your walls right now?!

Photo dump from the best weekend ā˜€ļø It has been the sweetest summer seeing everything in the eyes of Grady now that he is walking and chatting! We have been so blessed with so much quality time with @rhettgardnerfarms so this was our ā€œlast hoorahā€ before he starts harvesting corn! We are looking forward to fall and praying for a successful and safe season for the farmers. I’m so thankful for the way I’ve been able to enjoy this summer myself. The first year postpartum left me feeling so drained physically after so much medication and change. I honestly didn’t realize how bad I felt, but I see it so clearly looking back! Simply put: I’ll never regret putting supplements back into my routine. Whoever needs to hear this: you don’t have to remain stuck in feeling blah. Message me and let’s shift to something better! It’s only up from here šŸ«¶šŸ¼āœØ

If you love color and want to make a difference in a space WITHOUT committing to colorful walls—- let your cabinets do their thing!!! Of course there’s a balance to everything and we don’t want to pick colors that throw off the rest of the house scheme. But for me, certain greens and blues can be done right — they will still give you that natural vibe while packing a vibrant punch āœØšŸŖ“šŸŽØ Have you ever used color on your cabinets?? Let me know in the comments!

I believe God has been using motherhood to teach me more than in any other season of my life— and goodness am I grateful for the growth and change going on! Here’s what I know: - I am a selfish person in need of our selfless savior every. Single. Day. - God is asking me to foster a loving home for Grady and point Him to the kingdom and I’m just honored to be a part of His plan. It has been such a sweet year staying at home with Grady and soaking in so many firsts! He’s so go with the flow and loves anything we do. But I’d be lying if I said a part of me didn’t miss the joy I find in creating as much as I used to. I read recently that we can be honored when God pulls us aside and places us in a slower pace. A place of waiting and trusting. A place of really, truly giving up ourselves for His calling. When He pulls us aside, He’s asking for our undivided attention to Him and His love for us. And when the time is right, the waiting will be so worth it when we start to see what’s to come! If you gather anything from this heart-sharing session let it be this: recognize your season of waiting on whatever it may be that you’re longing for. Allow yourself to enjoy where you are in this moment! Trust that God will provide exactly what you need, when you need. Slowing down isn’t always a bad thing.🩷 #motherhood #mom #create #art #artist #moments

We’ve been scheming up a lot of pretty places over here!šŸ˜ Love these recent selections clients have made and so looking forward to seeing the projects come to life. It’s always so special when I can envision a space in my mind, and then see it in real time when renovations are complete! Which one is your favorite?!

Cute little creatures šŸŖ暟¦†šŸ• Art is so much more than a print on the wall, you guys. I stumbled across the work of @graygardendesigns on a weekend trip with Rhett to Greenville, SC. I saw her paper mache animals in a booth and fell in love! They were so unique and vibrant! Realistic feeling and mature yet youthful. I told myself that if we were ever blessed with a baby, I was going to put her paper mache creatures in the nursery. I didn’t forget! In fact, I made it the focus of the room! After finding a favorite fabric and deciding to go with a ā€œbirds and bird dogsā€ theme, I sent her my colors and creatures, and she went with it! I’m still stopping every day and admiring them! So much time and attention to detail are put into these. So, here’s your friendly reminder to think outside the box when you’re working on your walls. Make things dimensional and colorful. Use sentimental things you have! What’s something you have on the wall that is art in a special way?
