Hosted in Cresco, IA by Match Director Matthew Colsch, the Midwest Finale brought together top rimfire shooters from across the region to battle it out one last time this season. A well-run match, challenging course of fire, and great sportsmanship made for a standout finale weekend.

That 7PRC absolutely hammered out in Africa. The Eastern Cape turned out to be full of 5,000 ft mountains, which took some adjusting to for an old, out-of-shape Ontarian used to swamps and mixed forests. Killed seven animals between 80-622 yards, the Hornady CX bullets went where they were to every time, all from the 7PRC. I had been trying to get on that old Kudu for 4 days, kept giving me the slip. Finally paused in an opening for a couple of seconds too long at 470 with about 10 mins of shooting light left. Great culmination to 4 days of hard hunting. Thanks for always building such quality rifles. Every single one has been sub ½” and durable.
