The feature was called “Fashion Week-A Week’s Worth of Style,” and my little pumpkin Juliet (almost 2½!) and lil’ buddy Adrian (9 months old) were part of the shoot with me 🤗❤️ I chose a select number of pieces and created looks for 7 days from work to weekend. Showcasing how to leverage your wardrobe…still what I am about today! It also highlighted a few of my fashion rules which literally remain intact today too…except ‘wear heels whenever possible’ Hah! I do this one on an “as needed basis” now. 🤦♀️😂
Lucky was such a revolutionary magazine — completely centered around shopping and personal style. They even included stickers so you could tag pages and products and take the magazine with you as you shop-Genius!!💫 It launched in 2000 and closed in 2015! I wish it was still around today!
At the time, I was VP of Global PR at Gap Inc., and this feature sparked the idea for “Rachel DiCarlo’s Top Picks” just as e-commerce was beginning to gain momentum. More on this soon! ✨
