Much thanks to everyone who made it out to @turnturnturnpdx this past Friday to help celebrate @moon_debris release of their new album, "Secret Water." Thanks to @crowey_pdx for setting a wonderful vibe with such a beautiful set. It was great to see so many wonderful and long-time supporters out there. Our next appearance will likely be on June 14th at High Water Mark to welcome @roller.dome to town to celebrate a new release they have in the works. In the meantime, we'll be busy working on some recordings of our own. Stay tuned to this space!
I managed to double-booked myself this Saturday… From 5-10pm, come out to Migration Brewery on NE Glisan to celebrate their 16th anniversary. Myself along with @preacherskidportland will be spinning our well-seasoned blend of groovy vinyl. Expect warm vibes and fun party jams all through the evening. Then, I'll be shooting over to Azøth with my bass strapped to my back to perform live with @lovehissband It's our first show in a good while and we'll be joined by a very special guest drummer, Krispin McCarls Jr (@mustindouch ) of @child_pm_official . I'm so excited and I just can't hide it! We are third on the bill and will go on later in the evening, probably between 10:30 and 11:30pm. Get out to Azøth early to catch the fantastic stylings of @susurrusstation and @almost__dark . Hope to see you at one or the other, or both!!
We are honored to be playing with our dear friends @toyboat_music and @child_pm_official this Saturday night @albertastreetpub . The 4-piece YüN ensemble (Yoon, Tristan, Nicole, and Brandon) will go on at 9pm sharp to kick off this night of sonic delight! Saturday Night!!! I'm back behind the decks after bringing the party jams on NYE. I'll be retaining some of those same records in the crates for those of you who still want to keep the Holiday fires alive. I'll be doing my "Astrowhirl" material which includes anything remotely futuristic or has swirling synths and propulsive beats.
