STORE CREDIT POLICY REVERSION
Last month I announced a change in Games of Berkeley policy, allowing no more than 50% of a transaction's total to be payable with store credit. This was intended as just one of many tools in implementing our new program for buying and selling TCG singles, and addressing the stressful financial position we're still experiencing to this day.
It was a blanket decision that I made without careful enough planning and announced without adequate notice, and for that I apologize to the entire GoB community -- including our employees. There are any number of analogies that spring to mind (hammers, drowning, etc.), but in the end this change just wasn't the right way to make things work. So effective immediately, GoB is returning to our prior policy:
Store credit may be used toward 100% of the purchase price of any goods, but may not be used to pay for event entry.
We genuinely appreciate everyone's feedback over the past few weeks. Please feel free to send any more that you might wish to contribute via [email protected]. Thanks for your support, and for being a part of our community.
Erik

We're shifting some things around on the sales floor again! It'll take a bit of time to get everything just right, so we appreciate your patience as all of the fiddly bits gets worked out.
