An ode to my favorite wakey bean potion. However… Been limiting coffee intake lately. Because of my dang frickin BODY and acid reflux and all that. It’s no fun but I hope future me is happy. Who knew drinking 6 to 8 cups of coffee would have ramifications??!!
Some more daily art from the archive.
Had the idea for the first slide for ages, and it feels great to have made something with it. Got it out of my head. Maybe it’ll evolve in the future but in the meantime, here’s some more drawings and ideas from the daily grind.

Computer, load up celery man.
More daily doodles, one from today, and a few scattered in from past week. Ideas and thoughts. Half of the fun of posting is to also see what music I like that I can add to these now too. I quit Spotify over a year ago due to its military ties and terrible artist pay, and also because it just kept playing the same 5 artists (terrible radio and discovery). I started self hosting all of my music and streaming it to myself with Plex. So all the stuff that was missing on Spotify is fair game again. My favorite Boards of Canada old tunes and remixes, years of soulseek backlogs, Flying Lotus mixtapes… it’s been a treat reliving it all, and adding to it!
Don’t know what that has to do with anything, but here we are. Thanks for checking things out friends.
More daily drawings to share with y’all. A full range of work really, some more finished than others. Part of the joy of drawing something every day is even if you can’t think of an idea, as soon as you start, your mind helps fill in the gaps and blanks to make something that was hidden in your mind. Brings it to the foreground. And I’m always curious what I’ll draw the next day. Or in the case of the last slide; you’ll be inspired by your mortgage payment going up twice in 4 months… Greedy world we live in.
Also, the name GamePak came from what Nintendo calls the cartridges that went into the Game Boy. And I spent countless hours playing that as a kid. Before bed, during car trips, sneakily before school… so many adventures and such great art, ideas and music were in all of those games that have inspired me to this day.
Another day, another drawing, another representation of heady concepts as told through a computer. You know me!
Second slide is inspired by my every day struggle with coffee. I can't stop drinking it but my body is showing signs of... frustration.
Today I mixed and laid concrete for the first time. I fixed a foundational gap in my back door's step. Feeling proud of myself and loved learning about how to mix concrete and get it to set correctly with a trowel!
More daily doodles. More opinions.
Thinking of the world we could be living in, imagining that better future. The one without ads as you pump gas into your highway legal kei truck. It can happen… right?
In the meantime, be well friends!
Some more daily drawings, including today’s. One of the captivating parts about drawing is how sometimes it’s hard to start, maybe lack of motivation, or lack of an idea, but as soon as you start to make something it always ends up turning into something fun. Hard to stop! Watching your pen translate something in your head (no matter the quality or fidelity) never gets old.
Also I think I will never get tired of drawing monsters. I’m really sorry (not sorry)
After a lengthy hiatus, I’ve been doing a doodle every day (alongside a couple friends too!) to get back into the swing of things. I’ll start sharing where that’s been going. Here’s a few from the past week or so. Thanks for looking as always.
I’ve stopped using this app as much because it felt isolating, being drawn into reels and suggested posts without seeing the real stuff-my friends and inspirations. But in retaliation I feel like I also lost that connection at all. Maybe I relied on it too much? Maybe now is the time to rekindle it? Lots of questions these days. Stay strong friends!
Hey friends, I still make art and think about creative things and care about you all.
I realized I hadn't posted any art for a long time! Here's some stuff from the past stint of being away from posting.
Still exploring more color, and being less precious with each line so I can just get my ideas out.
Hey friends! I made a bunny gif (pronounced however you please) today at the Royal Oak Sketch Group, and realized I haven't been posting a ton of what I've been drawing or making lately. Or really posting at all! It's been rewarding to play with color more, try new styles, finesse others, and keep pushing the craft. So, here's a little happy bunny dude to embrace that feeling of growth and change. Hope you are all doing well.
Bonus: the audio is a little piano recording I made on a cassette 9 years ago!
Hello friends! I’m 31 today, and what a fun time it’s been! I got my birthday sub and donuts and I feel great today, looking back at what I’ve been going through with a smile on my face. I’ve got the best people surrounding me in my life, and I’ve made it through tough times. and great times, and I’m feeling fulfilled! I’ve reconnected with old friends, seen faces that I haven’t seen for a while, closed a chapter by getting rid of my Jag in favor of a much more dependable new ride, started making music again, picked up drawing more seriously again, and had so many memories made with my friends. Special shoutout to my love @juli_hug_ for the memories we’ve been making together too!! I feel so loved and excited! 2024 is a hear of new chapters and continuing the momentum. Into the future!
