When it comes to cancer screening, there is a lot of misinformation that can be dangerous. We want to debunk some myths about cancer screening: 🚫 Myth: “If no one in my family has cancer, I don’t need to worry about it.” 🚫 Myth: “I’m too young to worry about cancer screenings.” 🚫 Myth: “If I feel healthy and don’t have symptoms, I shouldn’t need to worry.” Early detection saves lives. It’s not about looking for trouble; it’s about finding the truth so you can take control of your health Let this be your sign to call your doctor for a routine check-up and stay ahead of the game. #CancerPrevention #EarlyDetection #gambitbio #cancerscreening #cancerdetection

Last week, our CEO, Dr Tiffany Ma, delivered the keynote at Bangor University’s NWMS Seminar Series 🎤✨ The session saw the highest turnout the series has had in the past two years — with an incredibly engaged audience of PhD students, postdocs, and PIs exploring how to translate research into real-world impact 🔬➡️🌍 What stood out most? The majority of questions weren’t about IP, fundraising, or regulatory pathways. They were about the internal barriers 🧠💭 • How do you overcome self-doubt? • How do you know when you’re “ready”? • How do you manage perfectionism? For a room full of brilliant scientists, the biggest obstacles weren’t technical — they were internal. The discussion covered both the practicalities of company building 🏗️📈 and the human side of innovation — imposter syndrome, analysis paralysis, and why clarity often comes after action 🚀 During International Day of Women and Girls in Science week 👩‍🔬💜, it felt especially meaningful to celebrate the incredible women shaping the future of research and entrepreneurship in Bangor. The science is powerful - the people behind it are even more so! #WomenInScience #AcademicToStartup #FounderJourney #Biotech #FromPipettesToPitches
