Lisa Buckland @lisabucklandart is showing in Encore, our current group exhibition. Working across watercolour, acrylic, sumi ink and digital drawing, her practice explores identity, connection and the relationship between people and the natural world.
Influenced by photography and Japanese art traditions, Lisa’s work balances expressive brushwork with carefully considered colour palettes, creating images that feel both delicate and quietly powerful. Themes of transience, resilience and fading beauty run throughout the work, often inspired by wildlife, flora, sea and sky.
Her recent digital works reflect an evolving practice shaped through personal experience, finding softness, calm and strength within moments of uncertainty.

Nichola Roberts @nicholarobertsart is showing in Encore, our current group exhibition. A New Zealand–born artist working between Melbourne and Apollo Bay, her practice centres around richly layered abstract works that evolve intuitively through texture, atmosphere and movement.
Inspired by the coastal forests of Apollo Bay, her paintings carry a sense of stillness — built through moody tones, softened light and a quiet emotional depth. Working instinctively and immersed in process, each piece unfolds through feeling rather than rigid planning.
Her work invites a slower kind of looking — reflective, immersive and grounded in atmosphere.
